About the job
Every company runs on a mess of manual work: copy-pasting between tools, chasing status updates, rebuilding the same spreadsheet for the hundredth time. Ace Workflow kills that work. We build automations that take the tedious operational stuff off people's plates so their business actually runs itself.
And we don't just sell this. We live it. We use our own tools to automate Ace, dogfooding everything we ship so the product gets sharpened in the real world every day. Our suite is Ace Work, where clients see their operations diagnosed and mapped, Ace Flow, the OS that runs our delivery and builder network, and Ace Brain, the intelligence layer that ties it together.
We're small, we ship fast, and we're building the platform layer underneath a business that's already running. This is a founding product engineering role, so you'll have real ownership from day one.
What you'll do
You'll work directly with the founders on whatever matters most that week. That means shaping problems, not just implementing tickets. Some of it is client-facing product, some of it is the internal systems that let a lean team punch way above its weight, and a lot of it is figuring out where automation and intelligence should live in the stack. You'll build features end to end and own them after they ship.
What we're looking for
- A generalist who moves fast and thrives with autonomy
- Deep technical range across the stack, from UI down to infrastructure
- Strong opinions about how software should work, and the instinct to build things that feel good to use, not just things that function
- Product taste: you care about UX, speed, and polish, and you push back when something feels off
- Startup experience, or the kind of person who clearly would thrive at one
- You use AI tools well and think hard about where they fit
Stack experience
We care less about your exact stack experience and more about whether you can take something from idea to shipped without someone holding your hand.
How to apply
Send us your resume, plus a short note. In the note, tell us about something you've automated for yourself, in your day to day, your personal setup, your workflow, whatever. What was annoying, what you built, and whether it actually stuck.
A few honest sentences beat a polished cover letter every time. We'd rather read something real, so please write it yourself.
