Media & Entertainment

Make content, not schedules.

Media and entertainment teams lose their best people to production schedules, rights tracking, and chasing assets through post.

We find the operational work between concept and distribution, rebuild it inside your production and asset tools, and keep it running so your team stays creative.

The math

9 days

average lag from final cut to platform delivery

Between locking a cut and going live, assets bounce through color, sound, QC, and versioning by hand. Most of that time is waiting and re-exporting, not creative work.

Where the hours go

The ops work slowing production down.

01

Production scheduling

Calendars and callsheets managed manually across tools that don't sync.

02

Asset and rights tracking

Media assets and usage rights tracked in spreadsheets where mistakes cost real money.

03

Post-production handoffs

Files passed between editing, color, sound, and delivery over email and Dropbox.

04

Distribution coordination

Content delivered to platforms manually, where versioning errors go live.

Step one, always

First we map where those hours actually go.

Every workflow, priced and ranked, so you fix the expensive ones first. This is a live map from a sample company; yours starts filling in the day you sign up.

What we build

What we usually build for media companies.

01

Production workflow orchestration

Schedules, callsheets, and crew coordination automated across production tools.

02

Asset and rights management

Media tracking, usage rights, and licensing automated in your DAM.

03

Post-production pipeline

File handoffs, version control, and delivery tracking automated end to end.

04

Distribution automation

Content delivery to platforms automated with QC and versioning built in.

From the field

9 days → 2

final cut to live

A mid-size unscripted production company

Every episode's deliverables lived in a spreadsheet mapping platform specs to file versions. An assistant editor spent afternoons renaming exports, uploading to three platforms, and re-checking specs by eye. Twice a season, a wrong aspect ratio went live.

The result: Delivery dropped from 9 days to 2, and spec-mismatch re-uploads went to zero.

Questions

What media & entertainment teams usually ask.

Our rights and licensing data is messy. Can you still automate around it?
Yes. We start by mapping what you actually track today, clean the fields as we migrate them into your DAM, and build the automation on top. We don't need a perfect dataset to begin.
Will this touch our raw media or just the metadata?
Mostly metadata, proxies, and delivery files, not your masters. Where we do move finished files, it's copy-and-verify with checksums, never a destructive move on originals.
We work with freelancers who change every project. Does that break the workflow?
No. Access is role-based, not person-based, so onboarding a new editor is one step and offboarding is instant. The workflow doesn't care who's in the seat.
